Sam Khazai is a NYC-based actor who transitioned into theater following a career in counterterrorism and US National Security. Having trained at Stella Adler and HB Studios in New York City, Sam seeks to create art that is transcendent, messy, and real; work that brings audiences – and himself – closer to truth. Sam is most interested in telling stories that empower marginalized communities, challenge conventional narratives, and allow everyone to show up as they are. Recent theatrical projects include Echo and Narcissus (Flea Theater), Tosca Tehran (Atlantic Theater), City of No Illusions (La Mama Theater), Cracked (Broadway Bound Festival), Quiet Car (Manhattan Rep), and Sokonaizu (CUNY). Sam has appeared on Law & Order SVU (NBC) and Madam Secretary (CBS). You can follow him on Instagram @skhazai.
